My name is Sarah and I am a qualified Pluralistic counsellor and a member of the NCPS, welcome to my website.
Located in Woodley, Reading, I also see clients in Henley-on-Thames at the Cherry Tree Centre.
I trained as a counsellor for three years because I experienced how talking about your feelings can make a difference when you are feeling overwhelmed. Knowing I was not alone and had a nonjudgmental and understanding place to talk allowed me to build foundations for a brighter, more peaceful future.
This experience motivated me to help others understand their feelings and fulfil their potential.
In addition to working in my private practice, I have worked in education for many years and still work with young people and adults, supporting them with their mental health, helping them to become the best versions of themselves. I have also worked in a local hospice as a Counsellor, supporting adults and young clients to manage grief, anxiety, and depression.
Gaining the above experience and skills enables me to offer the tools to help you and your family understand the issues you may face and move forward.
Seeking counselling can help you achieve a sense of calm and balance, giving you back control over your life.
My Qualifications
- Level 5 Prof Dip in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practise MNCPS (Acc)
- Level 4 Dip in Counselling Skills and Theory
- Dip in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills
Your counselling will be held in a comfortable space. Whether online, on the phone, or face-to-face, you will have the opportunity to explore your feelings sensitively without judgment.
Together we can explore any hurdle.
My Approach
As a pluralistic counsellor, I draw upon various therapeutic styles to tailor your therapy to suit your needs. What suits another person may not suit you.
The key to a successful counselling experience is not the training, but building a relationship where we can work together so you can feel comfortable enough to be able to explore and unpack your feelings, in a non-judgmental space. I can help you navigate through the hard times, learning coping strategies to help you to your desired outcome.

Please note if you wish to cancel I will need 48 hours' notice otherwise you will have to pay for your session.
