I offer private counselling and hypnotherapy, supporting clients locally in Woodley, Henley and Reading and via online support for clients further afield.

Many of my clients are struggling with insecurity, overwhelm, anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement or loss.

Having experienced therapy myself, I understand how much courage it takes to sit down and speak honestly about what you’re carrying. 

Listening to you and making sure you feel heard is a crucial part of therapy but working with me is a collaborative process. 

I work alongside you as you develop tools and strategies to manage anxiety, stress, overwhelm or grief and rebuild your self esteem.

I’ve worked in education and hospice care, supporting both young people and adults through complex emotional challenges. 

In hospice care, I provided counselling during some of life’s most vulnerable moments, walking alongside individuals and families as they navigated grief, anxiety, depression and change.

These experiences have shaped the way I work today and the compassionate support that runs through my private practice, whether we work together online or in my therapy room in Woodley. 

I bring not only professional training but years of supporting people through uncertainty, loss and self-doubt, helping them to build inner resilience and self-trust.

No two people experience anxiety, grief, self-doubt or overwhelm in exactly the same way and my approach to therapy is shaped around your needs and the style of support that will be most effective for your goals. 

As a pluralistic counsellor, I can draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to find the support that feels safe, effective and right for you.

This may include techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, breathwork or other strategies that support emotional understanding, practical coping and personal growth.

At the heart of my work is the relationship we build. Therapy isn’t just about techniques or training. It’s about creating a space where you feel comfortable enough to speak openly, explore honestly and begin to understand yourself more clearly. 

Together, we can develop practical strategies that help you to manage stress and anxiety, navigate grief or loss and strengthen self-trust, assertiveness and resilience.

As well as counselling, I also offer hypnotherapy — a gentle and focused approach that works with the subconscious mind, where many of our habits, emotional responses and long-held patterns are rooted.

Sometimes we understand why we feel or behave a certain way but still struggle to change it. Hypnotherapy can help to bridge that gap and allow your mind to become more receptive to positive change. 

By addressing the deeper patterns that drive thoughts and behaviour, it can create lasting change.

However we work together, my aim is the same: to provide client-focused support that helps you to feel more in control and more resilient.

Therapy is a journey and change doesn’t happen overnight. 

Many clients find that therapy support over weeks or months allows them to uncover patterns, explore challenges in depth and develop strategies that truly change the way they think, feel and respond.

During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss what has brought you to therapy and a realistic time frame for support that helps you to grow, build trust in yourself and create the meaningful change you’re looking for.

Location

My therapy room is located in Woodley and Henley, and I provide counselling and hypnotherapy for clients in the Woodley, Henley, Reading and Berkshire areas, with online sessions available to clients who aren’t based locally or prefer the convenience of online counselling and hypnotherapy. 

Based at 3 Way Physiotherapy, Woodley, RG5 4JB and the Cherry Tree Centre in Henley, RG92AY.
